We grow by applying rules and understanding what the consequences are if we interpret them differently. We do not grow by constantly dealing with our inner critic and making a judgment that it is right or wrong that there is this or that rule.

Impact vs. Power – Day 4

Whether something is cheap or expensive is always a very subjective, judgmental choice and serves as a negotiating argument for the execution of power. For which intention, for which (not just monetary, but also moral, spiritual) value and purpose something is created or invested, that is the real kick for me to become effective as an entrepreneur - and not my power to my own advantage to instrumentalize.

Changes can appear in a variety of forms. There are creeping changes: everything seems to take its usual unchanged course - we are in constant contact with people who are familiar to us and perceive them - and yet we do not perceive that we are changing: there are signs of age, the body changes or our movements. It takes an occasion, a nudge, to realize: hmm, something is different. And then there are upheavals, that we notice very abruptly and immediately: A storm devastates a settlement or a forest, a flood sweeps everything away and leaves damages.

Advent originally means "to come", even more to "arrive". In Christianity, Advent describes the time between the first of the last four Sundays before December 24th until Christmas Day, during which one is occupied with reflections, meditative retreats, and customs that generate light and hope for the community.
